Douglas County Board of Commissioners hopeful Dan Sutton has a plan to implement higher education programs in the Wenatchee Valley.

“I’m actually on an advisory board right now with Wenatchee Valley College,” explains Sutton.  “We’re looking at developing a culinary arts program.  It’s serious enough that if everything goes to plan, we’re looking to launch Spring of next year.”

Sutton, who owns the “Cottage Inn” restaurant in Wenatchee, is running for the District One seat left vacant by a retiring Ken Stanton. Sutton is running as a Republican.
